I spent the last several days down in Baltimore at Otakon. I would like to pass on my thanks to the two people who came to say "Hi." You both made my day. Especially the young lady who said I was one of only two famous people whose autographs she wanted to get at the convention. I protested that I wasn't famous, and signed my autograph "To Our ONLY Fan."
Otakon was very much worthwhile. It's a real pleasure to see 250 people using the LARP system I designed. It was also amusing to be filmed (well, taped - film is last century's technology) by a crew from MTV2, who were apparently doing a set of 45-second blipverts about Otakon. I'll let everyone know if my footage gets on the air...but I doubt it will. Which would you, as a high-powered exec at MTV, put on the air: a 36-year-old programmer wearing blue jeans, or an 18-year-old college freshman in a Lum bikini?

Aw, man! Our only fan came by and I wasn't there. That always happens.
Three points on today's comic:
1. "You may ask yourselves, how much more stylish could our heroes look? And the answer is, NONE! None more stylish."
2. I just couldn't be bothered to go back and check what color I'd made Benjamin's Vorstellen ID badge the last time he used it. True story!
3. I forget what #3 is.
That's all for now. On Monday: we'll post the fan art we just got from Mark Sherry. Whee!
