Happy Thanksgiving to our American readers. Happy Thursday to all our
readers outside the United States, too...there's no reason why everyone*
shouldn't have a happy day today, as far as I'm concerned.
I'm thankful, this day, that I didn't have to draw this page. When I had the script require our heroes to go under the floating city of Epiphany, I utterly forgot about the complicated shadows Mark would be called upon to draw. I'm really, really sorry, Mark. Ah, I thought it was fun drawing that windswept, sunblasted concrete plaza, even if some of the angles ended up a bit wacky. I'm thankful that I won't have to figure out what the inside of those giant floating monoliths actually looks like. Luckily for me, our heroes are moving on.
