(Jon sez:) Happy Thanksgiving to our American readers. Happy Thursday to all our readers outside the United States, too...there's no reason why everyone* shouldn't have a happy day today, as far as I'm concerned. I'm thankful, this day, that I didn't have to draw this page. When I had the script require our heroes to go under the floating city of Epiphany, I utterly forgot about the complicated shadows Mark would be called upon to draw. I'm really, really sorry, Mark. P.S. Noachis Terra is a region on Mars. You can refresh your memory with a quick look at page 124. * Except for the guy who invented email spam. He should have a lousy Thursday. |
(Mark sez:) Ah, I thought it was fun drawing that windswept, sunblasted concrete plaza, even if some of the angles ended up a bit wacky. I'm thankful that I won't have to figure out what the inside of those giant floating monoliths actually looks like. Luckily for me, our heroes are moving on. Today's comic and Sunday's, incidentally, are in honor of Martian History Month. |
