He's suffering the fate of most minor characters in any work of fiction, which is to have strange and perhaps terrifying events happen right next to him for reasons he doesn't comprehend. The large semicircular person right next to Bob is Sally. He doesn't know she's a person. She's in the process of being a strange and perhaps terrifying event. Science! NASA's Shuttle page states that there's a sixty percent chance that weather will prevent the Shuttle from launching on Saturday as planned. The weather forecasters are apparently expecting thunderstorms. |
