The sergeant is still being a hardass, though." That's a heck of a lot to expect out of a single panel of art, but somehow Mark pulled it off. God only knows how.
Benjamin and Caprice learned of the networked robots way back in Chapter Two. Using them as a threat against the Mars-phobic Venusians is a good way for Caprice to gain their cooperation.
