(Jon sez:) The Marlowes are the little unicycle cameras surrounding Dryden, and scattered across the Solar System (specifically see pages 7, 12, 15, 20, 41, and 73). Haas and Dryden use them to gather information throughout the settled worlds. In reply to my joke about Chaucer and Dryden really being Bandit and Doc from The Whiteboard in costume, Doc Nickel sent us a piece of art which just made my week. Hopefully we'll be sharing it with you. Or not. Maybe there's an embargo on art from Alaska. I'll have to check with my government sources. Speaking of government: If you're an American, remember to go out and vote on Tuesday. And if you're from Chicago, remember - as former mayor Richard Daley famously said - to vote early and vote often. |
(Mark sez:) Chaucer is definitely not built Three Laws Safe, that much is clear. Also, please don't ask me how Dryden's neck works or I'll start crying. Anywho, I suppose this is my cue to repeat the old gag about how voter fraud really isn't a problem here in Illinois, because while dead people in Chicago vote Democratic, dead people downstate vote Republican. (Rimshot.) So let's just state that no matter who or what you support, please exercise your freakin' civic duty and vote on Tuesday so Canadians stop laughing at us about our low voter turnout, OK? Oh, and here is that sketch by Doc Nickel. I think it's great. |
