(Jon sez:) I'd like to welcome all the new readers we've been getting over the last few days via links from the wonderful comic Eidolic Fringe and the immense Belfry Comics Index. Kick back, read the archives, and stay a while. Things are heating up... um... blowing up. The LiveJournal/webboard icon for today is another view of Doctor Haas's long-suffering mechanical lieutenant, Chaucer:
The action on this page of AMoS is a metaphor, as well as the first half of a joke. The punchline will be delivered on Monday. |
(Mark sez:) Ah yes, the traditional story of boy-being meets girl-being underneath a silvery moon which then explodes for no adequately explored reason... I can't really add much to that. I was going to do one of those Scott McCloud infinite canvas deals and draw a double-sized page today so you won't have to wait to see what just blew up, but really it takes me too long do even one of these in a night. I think this is kind of where McCloud's theories fall down a bit. |
