(Jon sez:) Mark is driving back to Illinois over the next couple of days, so his column over there on the right will be unchanged today. I, on the other hand, am at home and can write as much as I want! Bwa ha ha! Bwa ha ha! Bwa ha ha! Of course, I find myself with little of interest to say. Dang. Still...I managed to work a motorcycle jump into a comic set on the Moon. The idea came to me long ago when I read about Alan Shepard's golf outing on the lunar surface. (Look at time code 135:08:17.) A stiff, inept golf shot went 200 to 400 meters. How far could a motorcycle, driven up the back of a convenient sports car at full throttle, go? As Shepard would have said, "miles and miles." |
