The problem with the small, spindly robots is that - while they make excellent scouts and spies - they are also easy to pick up and use as a club.
Benjamin is using one of the small robots as a club against the other two because, until he knows if the robots are intelligent, he doesn't want to risk completely destroying them with his railgun. It has nothing to do with Benjamin working out his aggression. Really.
There's a cool motorcycle chase coming up in the next few pages. Mark told me he has been obsessively watching the chase scenes in The French Connection and Speed to get ready for it. Unless that conversation was a post-Otakon sleep-deprivation hallucination again. It must have happened, though, because the magic blue fairy elephants wouldn't lie to me.

"Bash Bash Crush Stomp" would be an excellent name for a band.
As for research, well, I did actually catch the last half of Bullitt on cable a few nights ago, so I suppose that counts for something. In the meantime please bear with me during this part of the comic; despite my eagerness to draw them, I'm nevertheless very much an amateur at the whole "thrilling action scene" deal. So really, we'll all be learning at the same time! Right?
