Due to the New Year's Day holiday, the next page of the comic will go online during the first week of 2010. When I was a kid I always thought of 2010 as the distant future, but now it's a couple of days away.

FYI, that's the same subcutaneous radio transmission thing as has appeared before in the comic; I've tweaked the text appearance a bit to make it hopefully more readable.
Links: I thought this thing about our space probe at the Heliopause was pretty interesting. I'd kind of like to see somebody use that map of the Local Interstellar Cloud as part of a space trading video game, to determine the energy cost of visiting various stars.
