As if you couldn't tell from our previous comic (and hints in the current one), I find mad science - or its real-life equivalent, dangerous and/or visually stunning science and technology - endlessly fascinating and amusing. This is why I giggle like a nitrous oxide fiend when I see speakers made of giant Tesla coils, a robotic drum set, synthesizer backup, and a guy in a wearable suit of metal mesh, working together to play the Doctor Who theme.
