I tossed you at an indie game last time, so let's just do that again. Eversion (for PC) is "a cute platformer with a dark secret." I recommend just going into it with no preconditions. I was quite impressed... though I have to admit I got too impatient to beat it fairly and ran to YouTube for a walkthrough!
