(Jon sez:) This scene has been waiting in my notes since shortly after I started writing the story for MoS back in 2001. I'm glad to see it drawn at last. The next couple of scenes that I've been waiting for with bated breath are coming up in the not-too-distant future, and will wrap up Chapter Three. Stay tuned! I encourage you to go out and look at the beautiful sweep of worlds that's visible in the evening sky over the next few days. Your next chance to do this in the evening is in three decades. Lastly: Fossil seas on Mars. Will wonders never cease... |
(Mark sez:) I was a bit worried about this page before doing it, as it's somewhat complex. But it came out okay in the end, not least because that weird little kid is kind of fun to draw. Any person who might suggest that his hair looks oddly familiar would not be entirely out of line. On a side note, be aware that the planetary alignment will unfortunately not be visible where you are, because no matter where that is it will be overcast and raining for the duration of the event. Dangit. |
